May is National Foster Care Awareness Month

May is Foster Care Awareness Month which issues a call to motivate, inspire and assist others to come forward and help change a life for a young person in foster care. All children deserve a safe, happy life. Young people, especially in foster care, need nurturing adults on their side because their own families are in crisis and unable to care for them. Now is the time to get involved. No matter how much time you have to give, you have the power to do something positive that will change a life for a child in foster care.
